I’ve been interested in music from an early age starting out with Motown in the 60’s, disco and “bubble gum music” of the 70’s. I’ve traveled extensively through the US and when I decided to land in Florida circa 1977. When I went to my first dance club I was mesmerized by the music and how could someone seamlessly blend one song to another. Instead of following my friends by dancing the night away, I stood in front of the DJ booth watching someone creating magic with records. After a couple of months I got to know the DJ and light man when one night the light man didn’t show up and the DJ asked me if I was interested to do lights. That’s how my DJ days started. The DJ was stuck in Atlanta and I was forced to become the DJ that night, I was an instant hit. With this under my belt, I went to broadcasting school to become a radio announcer, took voice lessons to get rid of my NJ accent (yes I’m from the states) and had small stints on a few radio stations. With the age of computer technology and the comfort of my own home I ventured into the art of internet broadcasting.
